White Hardy water lily

Walter Pagels

This Hardy water lily was named after the first president of the International Water lily and Water Gardening Society, Walter Pagels. It has small to medium ivory white blossoms that stand just above the water surface. It will show a small hint of pink from time to time. The leaves are lush green with faint mottling. It also will stay open later in the day than many other hardy water lilies. Planting Depth: 6-32
Walter Pagels is a great choice for small to medium ponds or alone in a tub garden. Blooms well in full sun to part shade
Hybridized by Strawn in 1993.

• SIZE: MEDIUM (1′ to 3′)
• LIGHT REQUIREMENTS: FULL SUN – PARTIAL SHADE
• WATER DEPTH: 6″ TO 32″ (Maximum water depth is for mature water lilies)
• USDA HARDINESS ZONES: 3-11
