Prefilters are highly recommended in running fountain display pumps by keeping debris from clogging up the nozzels. They “prefilter” the water drawn from the water garden pool and filter out debris that can enter and clog your water displays!

Pump Sock. This filter device known as the “Pump Sock” will filter debris before it enters the pump. Keep your water pumps flowing and your pumpdisplays showing! Allows for better water flow and cooling of pump. Easy to clean and requires minimal maintenance.  Comes with directions to install on submersible pumps that have bottom or side suction screens.

Protects all sizes of submersible pumps from large debris and allows for better water flow and cooling of pump.  The  Pump Sock is affordable, efficient and needs very little cleaning. It’s a great solution to reduce the maintenance and frequent cleaning of a pump. Constructed of black nylon mesh with tie cord.

The Pump Sock is designed to protect submersible pumps that draw water in from the bottom base plate or from side screens. The Pump Sock will fit all sizes of submersible pumps, large or small, magnetic or direct drives, that have either a vertical or horizontal discharge.

 

The Pump Sock eliminates the use of homemade products, like wire cages or 5-gallon buckets filled with rock.

The Pump Sock is designed to filter only the large particulate, which allows for better water flow and cooling capabilities of the pump.

Cleaning the Pump Sock is simple, just unplug the pump, remove the pump & Pump Sock from the pond, rinse the Pump Sock off with a garden hose and re-install into the pond. The pump should not need to be removed from the Pump Sock.
