A set of 3 Keyed Basalt Columns; basalt is a dark, volcanic rock that naturally displays a columnar structure. Basalt is typically composed largely of plagioclase with pyroxene and olivine. Small-volume basaltic volacanism has occurred intermittently throughout central Mongolia for the past 30 million years. This product comes complete with three keyed basalt columns. Every basalt column, including each keyed basalt column in a set, is handcrafted from natural stone, so variations in size, color, weight and texture may occur.
